Our sweet cat Diane is no longer with us. After months of coping with chronic renal failure and lymphoma, Diane was no longer eating and was not responding to her treatment. At the pet hospital this morning, she drifted off peacefully while we huddled close and stroked her gently.
Before Diane, I wasn’t much of a pet person. But this beautiful white cat with the blue-green eyes won me over. Ever since we adopted her when she was 2 years old, I always wished that I had known her as a kitten (as I’m sure she must have been the cutest little ball of white fuzz). But over the last 12 years, and most especially today, I realized that I was blessed to have known her at all. She was a sweet, loving and affectionate companion. We will always miss her dearly.

Oh Mary, I am so so sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is always tough, they become part of us. They love us unconditionaly, and know how to make us love them back.
This is a beautiful picture of her.

Mary, I'm so sorry for your loss. She was a gorgeous cat.
Oh no! I am so sorry Mary. Well, at least she is at peace. She won't have to fear being chased after by my kiddies...take care...
I am sorry for your loss of your furry companion :( Though it is sad that she has now left your side, just remember all the happy moments you shared during your 12 years together :)
I have you in my thoughts.
Oh my gosh, I'm bawling. As someone who loves her dog I dread the day that this happens to her.
I'm so very sorry.
Mary,
I am so sorry for your loss. I too had to say goodbye to my beautiful kitty, Spot, today. He was also dealing with renal failure. I have a hole in my heart, as I am sure you do. We will savor the sweet memories.
Mary, I am so sorry for your loss. You were lucky to have Diane but this is such a sad time. Clarice
So sorry to hear that. She was a beautiful kitty!
Oh Mary I am so sorry to hear about Diane's passing. Pets are truly a gift and you are very lucky to have owned her.
I was sad to read of Diane's passing. You may say you were lucky to have her, but I bet she would say she was lucky have you. Will you get another kitty, do you think? I hope you do.
God bless.

I was sad to learn that Diane had passed away. I know you say you were lucky to have her, but she would probably say she was lucky to have had you.
Will you get another kitty, do you think? I hope so.
God bless!
Terri
I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. You were blessed to spend those last moments with her.
Mary,
My heart goes out to you for the loss of Diane. We had to put Pepper down about 6 weeks ago after a long illness that we never did quite figure out. It is such a wrenching experience. You all were lucky to have each other. The end is so hard, but watching your beloved pet suffer is harder. Best wishes to you and P. Treasure the memories of your beautiful white furry friend.
Aww I'm so sorry for your loss. Diane was so precious. I know how hard it is to lose a best friend- be well.
I'm so sorry to hear that Mary ... I'm thinking of you.
Oh, I'm very sorry to hear that she passed away. That's so sad, but she's surely better where she is now...
Diane was a beautiful cat with a sweet face...
I am so sorry for your loss. Pets are so loving and giving and grant us so much happiness. I know she will be missed, but her love will always be with you.
Give yourself time to heal and know that Diane's gift of love can be found again.
What a gorgeous feline, I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. Hugs!
I wanted to thank everyone for the kind words and support. Diane will always have a special place in my heart.
Ah dear ... I SO know what you're in the midst of, my own old 'black beauty' slipped over the rainbow two weeks ago. I'm still finding little things that remind me: the plastic cup on the bathtub that she insisted in drinking from.
Mary, I am so sorry for your loss.
Dear Mary,
Your cat Diane was a beautiful kitty. I am just now reading about your loss. Your story brings such sadness to me. Please accept my condolences. Do you have other cats? I hope you will consider getting another cat if not. They bring such joy to our lives and love us unconditionally.
Love,
Bonnie
I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your pet. We lost our 13-year old Kennedy in February after discoverying she had feline diabetes around the holidays. I know how hard it is. May God comfort you at this time.
Mary, I just read this. I'm so sorry. How lucky you were to find each other. She was beautiful. It's such a bittersweet thing, to love and lose these sweet creatures. They are a gift.
I know exactly what you're going through, I'm always going to be in love with my Ellen, I had to put her to sleep June 03, 1999 she was 15 years 2 months and 9 days, and it took me 6 longs years to stop grieving her, and my other girl went down after we had her for 4 years, she was an adoptie, and was already about 9 years old at least. I have a boy now, he's 8, and I dread the day he has to leave. Sorry for your loss, truly, my prays go out to you. Diane M
